It's Labor Day! Get to work!

It's Labor Day! To celebrate your day away from the cube, get offa teh internets and read Oil!, a REAL BOOK by Upton Sinclair. Don't even think about renting There Will Be Blood, which, despite Daniel Day Lewis's earnest (duh) portrayal of a very successful oil baron who is also a complete bastard, is really running with the poetic license by claiming a basis in Sinclair's novel.

Since I already read Oil!, I commemorated the folks who busted ass to make my working conditions sweet with a morning of solitude in my weedy backyard. Bliss.
