...tempeh's here!

UPS delivered 20 lbs. of gorgeous tempeh this afternoon from Jose Caraballo's Tempeh Shop in Gainesville. This batch was made by my sister, who is the ultimate kitchen witch.
Now that it's here it doesn't seem so imposing (but I'm glad I cleaned out the freezer last week, anyway). The two square packages on the bottom shelf are tempeh. Look for an invitation to the tempeh tasting filmfest soon!

Since when is Angela brewing up tempeh? And what the crap is it anyway? I like its taste but can never remember what its actually made of.

Angela has been the tempeh queen for a while now, maybe a year, even? Tempeh's cultured soybean cakes of manna.
